Writing SUPER STARS!

This year also saw some huge successes in the world of writing with a record number of Oldfield Brow learners nominated to win the Greater Manchester 500 word challenge. I am pleased to report that we had 5 finalists, Stanley and Jessica (Year 6), Cane (Year 5), and Amy and Soraya (Year 3).

All of our writers were outstanding but a special mention needs to go to Jessica who won the Year 6 writing competition and Cane who not only won the Year 5 competition but the whole competition which also meant that she won £400 for our school to spend on new books for school.
