Women's History Month at Oldfield Brow
In assembly this week, it was great to introduce March as 'Women's History Month'. We focused on Emmeline Pankhurst as an example of a local woman from History who fought for equality for women in the 19th century. During the assembly, we continued to focus on our school values of aspiration, innovation and reflection but through the eyes of the 'Fantastically Great Women' who changed the world. Phase assemblies will focus on Women's History month this week and we will continue to learn more about these incredible women as the month progresses.
