Academic Successes Across the School!

From Phonics Screening in Year 1 to end-of-year assessments at the end of Year 2 and Year 6, there are plenty of successes for individuals and the school to celebrate. Our learners in Year 6 were assessed in a small number of subjects during their end-of-KS2 SATs assessments. I am pleased to report that the outcomes of these assessments were particularly successful, with all measures significantly above national averages. We are also proud of the number of children who reached the ‘Greater Depth’ standard in these assessments.

• Maths: 87% of learners met the Year 6 standard with an incredible 62% of learners achieving ‘Greater Depth’
• Reading: 87% of learners met the Year 6 standard with an incredible 47% of learners achieving ‘Greater Depth’
• Grammar: 88% of learners met the Year 6 standard with 51% of learners achieving greater depth.
• Writing: 76% of learners met the Year 6 standard.
