100 Book Challenge

At Oldfield Brow, reading forms the basis of our curriculum.  We actively promote a love of reading across the school through the sharing of class novels, reading lessons and 'Book Buzz' events that get the children excited about books and reading.  In addition to reading in support of our curriculum, we also promote reading for pleasure and have compiled a range of books for each phase of the top 100 'must-read' books for each phase in school (even before the children start with us at school).  The reading lists can be accessed below and we cannot wait to celebrate your love of reading in school.
