New Nursery and Reception Starters Information 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted that you have chosen Oldfield Brow Primary School and are so excited to be able to welcome your child through our gates in September. Your child has been educated by yourself since their very first day and we look forward to establishing a strong working partnership as we join you in this next step of your child’s educational journey. We pride ourselves on our family ethos and view each child as an individual within that family. Everyone is valued, special and we strive to teach our pupils to become resilient, tolerant and healthy in mind and body. We intend for them to be curious, self-motivated learners, who contribute positively.

In the downloads section of this page you will find the PowerPoint from our new starter meetings. There you will find all the key information regarding your child starting with us in September. For more information, please take a look at our EYFS page, which can be found under 'Key Information' on our website. If you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. To keep up to date with what is happening in our classes, take a look through our class pages, which can be found under 'Children'. We also have a school Twitter, where we post regular updates from our EYFS classes.

We look forward to welcoming your child in September and we hope you have a lovely Summer,

Miss Kelly

Working parents may be eligible for a further 15 hours per week known as 30 hours free childcare.
Please see further information on our Admissions page on our website about how to check eligibility and apply for this.
The questions below must be completed by a parent in order for school to claim the funding (15 or 30 hours) from Trafford Council.

Pupil Name
Please indicate how many hours you will be claiming
I declare that all the information provided on this form is correct and I understand it is a criminal offence to make a false claim for funding. I understand that the information on this form will be stored securely for the purposes of providing services and will not be shared with any other agencies without my permission, unless there are safeguarding concerns. I understand that if I am eligible for 30 hours free childcare that Oldfield Brow Primary School will check the validity of my eligibility code using an online system operated by Trafford Council. If the code is not valid within the required timeframe, I understand that the school will be unable to obtain the additional 15 hours funding and would charge £16 per day top up fee.
