message from the headteacherToday, many of the children had their first 'go' on the new wooden play equipment. By the looks upon their faces, they really enjoyed it!

Thank you to the PTA and all of their efforts into turning this dream into reality! Please support the PTA by purchasing your 'Beats n Eats' tickets on sale at the beginning and end of each day this week. Thank you
Year 6
I hope that everybody had a wonderful half term and enjoyed the good weather.
It's the start of a busy term for the Year 6 class!! One of our projects was to design and make a working fairground ride. We ended up with some fantastic creations that I'm sure you'll look forward to seeing on our open evening.
We're also practising hard for our summer show AND leavers service! We're discovering talents that we never knew we had!! The children are having a great time singing and dancing and planning their show costumes.
One of the most exciting events in Year 6 is the Enterprise Fair. The children are responsible for deciding what product/s they wish to sell, how to source their materials, advertising the event and making as much profit as they possibly can - they all become very competitive at this point!!
The dates for all these events are listed on the website and the children were also given a paper copy to take home.
We're looking forward to seeing you in school before it's time to say a sad farewell to a wonderful Year 6 class.

Learning Goals

The children are thoroughly enjoying the work that we're doing this half term. They've looked at design and technology through their fairground work, and will gain a better understanding of profit and loss (hopefully more profit than loss!) through their Enterprise project.

There have been a lot of open days this term, with more to come. Everybody who's already attended an open day has really enjoyed themselves which is great to hear!
