Year 2 RP
In our class you will find Mr Phillips and Mr Norris teaching us.

Together we make a 'TEAM' (Together Everyone Achieves More) to ensure that 'Only the very best will do'.

Using our growth mind set we encourage curiosity, independence and excellence through confidence, application and respect.

Stop Press!!!

The Spring term is here!!. The children will be having a very busy half term and will be working very hard both in the classroom and at home.

If you have any questions about any thing happening in the classroom or in the School, just ask Mr Phillips or Mr Norris.

Learning Goals
This term our learning will be focused around the topic 'Explorers'.

We shall be investigating historical figures from the past and exploring our local area.

We shall be ‘Explorifying’ in Science, investigating through predictions and taking advantage of the season by getting 'practical' outside.
Our topic is Plants and we shall be turning the classroom into a huge green house!

In PE we will be finding out all coordination and preparing our knowledge for team sports. We shall be asking questions of our bodies. Can you bounce a ball? What parts of the body can we use to pass a ball? What does control mean and how can we use it?

In maths we will be investigating statistics, finding out lot's about each other and presenting the information in many different ways.

We shall be consolidating our knowledge of addition and subtraction and we shall be investigating our times tables.
