message from the headteacherIn this, the final half term of 2018, we are looking forward to the rich variety of activities that we associate with this busy time of year. From Christmas Shows to Parents' Evenings, from Carols on the Crescent to Reading Workshops, there is a rich mixture of opportunities to become involved even more deeply with your school. Keep a close eye on 'Upcoming Events' to make sure you stay in the know!
Year 2 RP
In our class you will find Mr Phillips and Mr Norris teaching us.

Together we make a 'TEAM' (Together Everyone Achieves More) to ensure that 'Only the very best will do'.

Using our growth mind set we encourage curiosity, independence and excellence through confidence, application and respect.

Stop Press!!!

The Autumn term is here!!. The children will be having a very busy half term and will be working very hard both in the classroom and at home.

We are very excited to welcome the children into 2RP and we are looking forward to working alongside our new parents.

If you have any questions about any thing happening in the classroom or in the School, just ask Mr Phillips or Mr Norris.

Learning Goals
This term our learning will be focused around many exciting topics.

We shall be investigating our local area and find out about where we live and our local community.

We shall be ‘Explorifying’ in Science, investigating through predictions and taking advantage of the season by getting 'practical' outside.

In PE we will be finding out all about ourselves. We shall be asking questions of our bodies. Can you jump? Can you balance? Why can we balance? What is special about us that let’s us do the things we do?

The main focus in Maths will be on the investigation of numbers.
What is a number? What does it tell us? What is a number made up of?

When we know what a number is we will be adding and subtracting!
