In our class you will find Mr Phillips and Mr Norris teaching us.

The sun is shining (for now), the Summer term is here!!. The children will be having a very busy half term and are working very hard both in the classroom and at home. Thanks to all the mums and dads supporting their child’s learning journey and completeing their "show off time packs".

If you have any questions about any thing happening in the classroom or in the School, just ask Mr Phillips or Mr Norris.

Learning Goals
This term our learning will be focused around many exciting topics.

We shall be entering the troublesome world of Penny Dreadful a character and stories created by Joanna Nadin.

We shall be ‘Explorifying’ in Science, investigating through predictions and taking advantage of the season by getting 'practical' outside.

In PE we will be taking to the fairways and trying our hand at Tri Golf, watch out Patrick Reed!!

Competitive games like cricket will also be played, aiming to develop our teamwork and tactical knowledge and application.

The main focus in Maths will be on the different methods of measurement from cm to grams to litres.


Maths homework is sent home every Wednesday and is due back on the following Monday.
English homework is sent home every Wednesday and is due back on the following Monday.
Times tables are assessed every Friday.
Spellings are sent home and assessed every Friday.

Please feel free to support your child with the homework if they need it.

Remember, try to read regularly at home and to discuss the books as this really helps to develop comprehension skills.
